If translated literally pytt i panna means teeny pieces in a pan.Pyttipanna is usually served with inlagda rödbetor (pickled beetroot) and a fried egg or a raw egg yolk sitting in its shell in the middle of the dish. Preparation
Air frier
Line the air fryer basket with aluminum foil. Air fry in 170 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Stir gently 2-3 times throughout the cooking process for even browning. Preferably served with a fried egg, Lingonberry Jam, and pickled cucumber.
Frying
Heat up some food grease in the pan. Pour the frozen hash into the pan and fry on medium heat for about 6 minutes. Stir every now and then. Preferably served with a fried egg, Lingonberry Jam, and pickled cucumber.
Microwave
Pour the frozen Swedish hash into a microwave-safe plate or in a bowl and add a couple of tablespoons of water. Heat at full power (750W) for about 5 minutes. Preferably served with a fried egg, Lingonberry Jam, and pickled cucumber.
